One of my staff/customers is allergic to pollen. Can I still have a fresh floral display?
Yes, there are many plants and flowers, which have little or no pollen, and we will always consult with you on the most appropriate display for your situation.
I’d like to put some container plants in my crèche. Are there any health hazards for children associated with the plants or the soil?
We would not recommend the use of fresh flowers or container plants in areas where small children are able to come into direct contact with soil or the plants themselves. During our initial consultation we would identify the most appropriate areas to place displays.
The lights in our office stay on all through the night. Can I still have container plants?
Plants live, breath and need regular supplies of food and liquids. Like all living things they also need rest periods to rejuvenate. We therefore recommend that plants have at least 6 hours of darkness in every 24 hour period.
My office is very warm and dry with low levels of natural daylight will container plant survive or would fresh flowers be better?
Fresh flowers can be placed in warm atmospheres but would require regular attention or replacement. It is usually possible to find a container plant to suit most situations although the more extreme the environment the less choice there would be over species or type of plant.
My container plants were stolen last night who’s responsibility is it to replace them?
Any plant, fresh floral display, vase or container which is stolen whilst on hire will be charged for. It is advisable therefore to check your commercial insurance policy to make sure it covers the items on hire to you.
